Rewilding Britain
Wild East are a partner of Rewilding Britain. They aim to tackle the climate emergency and extinction crisis, reconnect people with the natural world and to help communities thrive.
Why 20%?
Restoring native habitats to at least 20% of the world’s land currently being used by humans for farming, ranching and forestry is necessary to protect biodiversity and slow species loss
The State of Nature
State of Nature 2019 documents how human impacts are driving sweeping changes in wildlife in the UK. The loss of nature affects us all, but the greatest impacts will be upon the lives of young people and generations yet to come, if they have to live in a world impoverished of nature.
